You may be eligible for a concession or rebate on your bill if you’re the primary account holder on your energy account and you hold a valid concession card.
You can add your concession details to your account details in My Account – we step you through it.

On supply Embedded Network Customers – You may be eligible for NSW Government Energy or Life Support rebates. To find out more, please visit the NSW Government Energy Saver website.
To check if that’s you, look for your NMI number on the second page of your bill – if it starts with “EN” you may be in an Embedded Network. You can also confirm this at the NSW Government Service website.

Senior Energy Rebate
Who may be eligible | Independent retirees who hold a valid concession card and are applying for their primary house of residence. You must also be the primary account holder named on your electricity bill. |

Electricity Asset Ownership Dividend
Who may be eligible | The Asset Ownership Dividend will go to all residential Queensland customers where electricity is charged separately, and for example, not included as part of the rent. Customers who receive an electricity bill from their landlord or body corporate are eligible but will need to apply. |

Service to Property Charge Concession
Who may be eligible | Valid concession cardholders who don’t use a lot of electricity. If your supply charge is more than your usage charges, you could get a rebate on your electricity bill. |

Rebate value | If the electricity use on a bill is lower than the service charge, the service charge is reduced to the cost of the electricity used. The concession is based on your usage cost before any solar credits are deducted. |

Life Support Concession

Utility Relief Grant Scheme (URGS)
Who may be eligible | The Utility Relief Grant Scheme (URGS) helps low-income households who can’t pay their utility account. You’ll be considered eligible if you’re:

How to apply | Your URGS application must be submitted with a personalised number. Message us or call us on 13 24 61. Our team can help answer any questions about the Utility Relief Grant Scheme (URGS) and assist you with filling out your application. We’ll supply you with an application form and your own form number, either by:

Important info to help you fill out your URGS application | 1. Your details Make sure you provide your name, address and contact phone number. You’ll also need to indicate what utility services you’re applying for help with. 2. The due date You must return your completed form by the due date. You’ll find this listed on your application form. Remember, the quicker you get your form in, the quicker you could receive financial assistance. 3. Household information You’ll need to include some of your household information. Listing any concession details (if applicable) and your household income. 4. Reason for your application This is a mandatory section. You need to meet at least one of the four criteria listed in the application form (or see above in “Who may be eligible”).
