Yolla-6 production well reaches total depth
Origin Energy Limited (Origin), as Operator of the BassGas Joint Venture, today announced that the Yolla-6 production well, which spudded at 21:30 hours AEDT on 14 March 2015, had reached total depth of 3,653m MDRT (Measured Depth Below Rotary Table).
The well was drilled using the West Telesto jack up rig, which will move back to complete drilling of the Yolla-5 well. The Yolla-5 and Yolla-6 wells are being drilled as part of Stage 2 of the BassGas Mid Life Enhancement (MLE) project.
Yolla-6 will be cased and completed before being commissioned for production via the BassGas production facility at Lang Lang, Victoria.
The wells are being drilled from the Yolla Platform which is located in Bass Strait, approximately 140km off shore from Kilcunda, Victoria.

Origin expects to recognise non-cash charges for FY2021 and issues guidance for FY2022
Origin Energy Limited (Origin) expects to recognise non-cash post-tax charges of $2,247 million in its FY2021 Statutory Income Statement to be released with its full-year results on 19 August 2021. Origin has also issued guidance for FY2022.
