From time to time your local distributor may not be able to provide us with meter reads until the end of your billing period, and this may affect your predicted bill and Energy Manager graph. If this happens, we will populate your Energy Manager graph with the missing historical data once your reads are made available
YOUR PREDICTED BILL EXPLAINED
Costs to date
This is an estimate of your electricity costs, since your last bill. The estimate is based on usage data from your distributor. It takes two days for that data to get from your meter to our systems. So the estimate is up to two days ago.
- The amount of electricity you’ve used so far
- A green energy percentage – if you’ve chosen to pay for green energy
- A pay-on-time usage discount - if you're eligible
- Supply charges and any other fees from your distributor
- State Government concessions – if you’re eligible
- Any non-fuel purchases you’ve made
We haven’t included our One Month Free rebate or any fees from your last bill, e.g. credit card fees, paper bill fees or late payment fees.
The accuracy of your Costs to date depends on us getting regular data from your meter. If we can't get your meter data, we’ll estimate your electricity use.
This figure is only an estimate. Your actual cost will be on your next bill.
Your average cost per day
This is your 'Costs to date' divided by the number of days since your last bill. It’s an estimate of your daily electricity cost.
This is your ‘Costs to date’ plus an estimate of your future energy use. We try to use your meter data from the same period last year, to estimate your future energy use.
The Predicted bill includes and excludes the same fees and discounts as your Cost per day.
