That depends on where you live and whether or not the property has been disconnected. Don't worry though, once you've booked your move we'll keep in touch every step of the way and let you know what you need to do. Just keep an eye on your emails
Each distributor operates a little differently. You can arrange your move any time in the lead up to your move. You can even organise your move Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) before 1 pm for next business day connections. This means that if you arrange your move on a Tuesday before 1 pm, your move can be organised for the following day that is Wednesday. If you arrange your move on a Friday afternoon after 1 pm, your move will be organised for the next Tuesday.
Whether you're an existing or a new customer, your distributor may charge a connection/disconnection fee roughly ranging between $8 and $85. We'll let you know the exact charges when you book your move. See Moving fees to find out more.
