Choose the date you want to be connected. Just a tip: it’s a good idea to choose a connection date at least one day before you plan to move in, as the power will come on sometime between 7am and midnight.

If there’s less than 3 business days before you move, give us a call on 13 24 61 from 7am to 9pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm on Saturday and we’ll get you sorted.

If you’re an existing Origin customer you can disconnect your old address when organising your move with us online. Otherwise, you’ll need to get in touch with your current provider to disconnect your old address.

*One month’s worth of energy free offer: Residential customers in VIC and NSW only. Not available for all properties or new property connections. Only available with Origin’s 12 month Maximiser and DailySaver plans. Offer ends 27/07/2016. Offer excludes GreenPower, Green Gas and distributor charges, as well as other charges and fees. Free month applied after 6 months of supply with us on usage and supply charges only. You must remain on the same energy plan at the same premises for 6 months to get the free month. If you have a digital (smart) meter – your free month will be applied based on actual usage for your sixth month. If you have a basic meter – your free month will be calculated by your average usage per day for the billing period multiplied by the number of days in your sixth month. Your free month will appear on your bill under ‘discounts and rebates’ as discounts on usage and supply charges.

Origin Maximiser: Residential customers only. Not available for all areas or for new property connections. Must sign up for ecorrespondance and agree to pay your bills in full by direct debit. Our discounts are off our Origin Supply product charges, which can be found here. Discounts do not apply to other charges such as GreenPower, Green Gas or supply charges. You’ll be automatically registered for My Account and continue to receive your bills and correspondence via email after the energy plan period unless you disable it.

Origin also offers a Standing Offer and for natural gas, a Regulated offer which are both no lock in products with terms and conditions set under the National Energy Retail Rules.

NSW Transitional customers: If you're an Origin electricity customer in the Essential Energy (Country Energy) or Endeavour Energy (Integral Energy) distribution area you may be a transitional standard retail contract customer with transitional charges. Plan discounts apply to Origin's market contract usage charges and not Origin's transitional charges. Transitional standard retail contract customers should consider what's best for them before switching plans, transitional charges have lower supply and usage charges. To find out more click here.
