LED lighting

Why switch to LED?

Light-emitting diode or LED is an energy-efficient alternative to traditional incandescent or halogen bulbs. For some businesses, the cost of using traditional halogen bulbs may be costing them up to 25% of total energy expenditure.

We’ll help navigate any state-based rebates available

For businesses located in New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia, there’s state-based rebates available to businesses switching to LED lighting.

New South Wales

The Energy Saving Scheme (ESS) aims to reduce the electricity consumption of businesses in NSW, specifically looking to improve or install energy-efficient equipment. As part of the scheme, financial incentives are provided to commercial businesses upgrading lighting technologies.

Victoria

As part of the Victorian Energy Upgrades program, discounted energy-efficient products and services are being offered to homes and businesses. Accredited providers of these products can also generate Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates (VEECs), however products must be installed by an approved provider.

South Australia

The Retailer Energy Efficiency Scheme (REES) in South Australia offers discounted or free energy-efficiency activities from energy retailers.

To best take advantage of these state-based rebates to improve your lighting, our Business Energy Solutions team has the expertise and knowledge to navigate through the details and consider any updates or changes to these schemes.
