Have a friends night

Game your way to energy efficiency.

Inviting yourself over to a mate’s place for game night is more than just a way to let your overly-competitive streak out for a good run. A night out playing Cluedo or Cards Against Humanity can also save yourself a night’s worth of energy usage.

Think about it. Most nights, we switch on nearly every light, appliance and device in our homes. Taking one night a week to share the energy load with another household helps to save kilowatts of power, along with the greenhouse gas emissions that go with them.

Just don’t let Game Night get out of hand. There’s always someone who takes Monopoly too seriously, flings the board in the air, and storms out in tears. So while Game Night can save energy, we make no such promises about your friendships.
