Response to Lock the Gate claims to the Scientific Inquiry into Hydraulic Fracturing in the Northern Territory
Today’s claims by Lock the Gate to the inquiry are false; the Amungee NW-1H well in the Beetaloo Basin is safe and has no integrity issues.
Origin provided both diagrams to the inquiry, which are publicly available on the inquiry website.
These claims have sought to undermine the integrity of Origin’s operations and also our interactions with the inquiry. It is incredibly disappointing that such claims have been made with no factual basis whatsoever.
Origin is very proud of our track record of safe and responsible gas development both in the Northern Territory and across Australia.
