Moving business

We understand that starting a new business or moving premises can be a challenge. So we make it easy for you to set up a new energy account or arrange a move with us – it will only take a few minutes.

You can do it all online now. But if you prefer, an Origin representative is only a phone call away. We’ll arrange for your accounts to be set up at your new address, and your old service disconnected.

For electricity and natural gas - 13 MOVE (13 66 83)

Monday to Friday 8:00am – 6:30pm

For LP Gas - 13 24 62

Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (Australian eastern time).

You need to contact us at least three business days before you move (five days if you're a Queensland customer and only moving out).

It will help when you call if you have:

  • Your account numbers
  • The old and new addresses.
