Origin's Human Rights Standards of Practice

Origin commits to abiding by all applicable laws and regulations in the places we conduct our activities.

In addition, Origin’s activities will be guided by:

  • the Universal Declaration of Human Rights;
  • the eight core conventions of the International Labour Organisation which include freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining; and
  • in instances where security personnel are engaged, applicable international law enforcement principles including, the UN Basic Principles on the Use of Force and Firearms by Law Enforcement Officials and the Code of Conduct for Law Enforcement Officials.
