Our commitment
Origin respects the rights and interest of the communities in which we operate by working safely and being mindful of, and attentive to, the environmental and social impact of the resources, products and services we use or provide to others.
Employment
Ladbroke Grove Power Station currently employs seven people to run the facility. In addition, during the construction of the SESA pipeline, which took place several years after the power station became operational; more than 100 people were employed.
Investing in the community
Origin is currently reviewing ways to expand our role in the community surrounding Ladbroke Grove Power Station. We already support community activities including the local Mens’ Club and will be looking at further opportunities in this area.
