For commercial and industrial businesses
Bulk hot water is generated by a centralised plant designed to supply the hot water to all apartments within the building complex.
We work with the building developer and the hydraulic consultant at the design stage to ensure an efficient system is installed.
The Builder supplies and installs a centralised hot water plant. At completion, the owners corporation assumes responsibility of the hot water plant. Hot water accounts are billed by Origin directly using standard tariffs, and billed in cents per litre.
Origin will...
- Provide the meters to measure the volume of hot water consumed.
- Establish individual supply agreements with tenants and body corporate for hot water consumption.
- Manage the customer accounts.
- Purchase bulk gas supply from local supplier.
