Wind energy in schools

Staff from Origin’s Cullerin Range Wind Farm visited schools who were interested in learning about wind energy, to talk about renewable energy and wind farm technology, how wind farms are built and what it’s like to work on one.

Students were asked to investigate wind energy and the pros and cons of wind farms. They were then asked to find creative ways to share what they’d learnt with others.

Here is a collection of students’ work from three local schools.

From Year 7 students at Mulwaree High School, Goulburn

From Year 5 and 6 students at St Mary’s Primary School, Crookwell

From primary school students at Dalton Public School, Dalton
