Yass Valley Wind Farm project

The Yass Valley Wind Farm project is a wind development site in NSW with attractive characteristics including scale, wind resource and proximity to connection.

Origin acquired the Yass Valley Wind Farm project in southern NSW from Epuron in December 2009. The proposed project spans two wind development sites in Coppabella Hills and Marilba Hills, located approximately 25km west of Yass. The Yass Valley Wind Farm has the potential to harness some of NSW’s best wind resources and will provide substantial environmental, community and economic benefits.

Origin is continuing to investigate the feasibility of developing the Yass Valley Wind Farm project and looks forward to working with the community in the Yass Valley in relation to this project.
