Rapped with energy safety

Sunshine Christian School, Sunshine North VIC – Years 3 & 4

This year we made energy safety fun and learnt how to keep safe around energy and kitchen appliances.

To learn about energy safety, we:

• participated in Origin’s Energy Safety Week
• discussed where we might need to use gas or electricity at home and how to make sure we’re being safe.

We’re encouraging others to use energy safely, by:

• writing and performing our energy safety rap and role plays at  school and at a special school assembly
• wearing energy safety tips on our uniforms to remind other students how they can be safe around energy
• displaying our posters of safe and unsafe behaviour in our classroom
• building models of futuristic kitchen appliances and displaying them in our classroom.
