Power Rangers save power

Our Lady of the Rosary Primary School, Kenmore QLD - Years 6 to 7

As the schools’ Power Rangers, we are determined to get all classes and year levels saving energy, by spreading our message ‘You can be a hero too’.

To learn about energy efficiency, we:

• researched and discovered important energy saving messages at home and school
• patrolled classrooms twice a day to check that other classes were using energy wisely.

We’re encouraging others to use energy efficiently, by:

• singing our energy efficiency song at school assembly to share our tips
• awarding a ‘Saving energy award’ at weekly assemblies to the week’s most energy wise class
• recognising and congratulating teachers and students who have found innovative and creative ways to save energy.
