Ramco Primary School, Ramco SA – Reception to Year 1

This year we learnt about energy safety in the kitchen and how to keep safe around appliances and cords.

To learn about energy safety, we:

• participated in Origin’s Energy Safety Week 2009 in August
• discussed kitchen safety rules
• visited the school kitchen to see where energy accidents could happen and how to keep safe.

We’re encouraging others to use energy safely, by:

• telling our parents what we learnt during Energy Safety Week
• taking home drawings of safe and unsafe energy use
• creating energy safety bookmarks.
