Apprenticeships
Get your career started
An Apprenticeship or Traineeship with us offers more than just a job. It allows you to build your skills, achieve a Nationally recognised qualification and set you up for a rewarding career within a dynamic environment.
We provide a range of opportunities across the diverse streams of our business, from electrical instrumentation, mechanical engineering and gas fitting trade apprenticeships to business services, road transport and retail traineeships. You will be supported by supervisors and mentors to ensure you get the most out of your training.
We are currently developing other competency-based training programs that will provide further vocational pathways and exciting new career opportunities.
Indigenous initiatives
Origin recently offered two indigenous traineeships in Roma in business administration and warehousing.
We are also introducing an indigenous school-based traineeship program in partnership with other industry enterprises. The two-year traineeships will be offered to students from Roma, Miles, Chinchilla, Dalby and Tara who are currently undertaking Year 10 and 11 studies.
