Our community
Origin's operations bring us into contact with small communities across regional Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. As one of Australia's largest providers of electricity and gas, we are also part of the broader communities of New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria.
We engage with and invest in these communities in a range of ways, with social, environmental and economic impacts. See the Highlights page for an overview.
One of our major contributions is via the Origin Foundation which invests the proceeds of Origin's $50 million donation on a range of philanthropic activities in the broad area of education and training. We believe in the power of education in making a sustainable difference to the lives of individuals and communities.
