Application & selection process

To join the team at Origin, you will first need to lodge your application online:

  • Please allow approximately 20 minutes to complete all questions
  • You will need electronic copies of your cover letter, resume and latest academic transcript to attach to your application
  • You do not need to complete your application in one sitting – you can log in later to finish it, but we strongly encourage you not to change any answers you have already entered.
  • Please refer to the location listing first to ensure there are opportunities in your chosen discipline and location


The graduate selection process may vary slightly across different business units within Origin, but will generally involve:

  • Online ability assessments
  • A brief telephone and face-to-face interview with a graduate recruitment team member. We utilise behavioural interviewing techniques, and will be assessing the general qualities that we look for in our graduates
  • An interview with a representative from the business unit. You will have a chance to find out more about the work you would be doing as a graduate, and be asked more technical questions relating to your discipline.
  • Reference checking
  • Medicals (where required by the business unit)
