Code of Conduct

At Origin, we are governed by a Code of Conduct which is based on our Purpose, Principles, Values and Commitments and outlines how people within the organisation are expected to behave. It governs everything we do and our Board and senior executives are committed to it.

Health, safety & environment

We value the wellbeing of our people, contractors, customers, the communities in which we operate and the environment. We are committed to responsible practices that minimise any adverse health, safety or environmental impacts arising from our activities, products or services.

Sustainability

We offset the greenhouse gas emissions from the electricity we use to run our generation plants, as well as our Australian offices, shops, solar plant and LPG terminals, and our car and plane travel.

Our people are encouraged to join in and support our Green Office Program which seeks to contribute to our environmental and sustainability commitments through simple changes to their daily work practices.

Community

We care about the communities in which we live and operate and we support our people's involvement in community activities whether that means giving time, money or both! We offer paid leave to volunteer with our charity partners and we support community engagement through Give2, our matched giving program.
