Dividends
Origin announces a 2.5% discount for the Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRP) and a number of changes to the rules of the DRP (32KB). The discount will be effective for shares to be issued under the DRP for the final dividend for the period ended 30 June 2011. Should you wish to participate in the DRP you can download and print the necessary forms.
Final dividend 2011
A final dividend of 25 cents per share (fully franked) is to be paid on 29 September 2011. The record date being 2 September 2011 and the Ex-Dividend date 29 August 2011.
The Dividend Reinvestment Plan will be in operation for this dividend, with a 2.5% discount to be applied.
Interim dividend 2011
An interim dividend of 25 cents per share (fully franked) was paid on 1 April 2011. The record date being 7 March 2011 and the Ex-Dividend date 1 March 2011.
The Dividend Reinvestment Plan was in operation for this dividend, however no discount applied.

Dividend payment options
There are currently two options for receiving your dividend payments:
- By direct credit to a nominated bank account.
- Participation in the Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRP).
We recently advised shareholders that we are streamlining the way we pay dividends and, effective from the 2011 interim dividend payment, cash payments to shareholders with registered addresses in Australia and New Zealand will only be made by direct credit to their bank account.
If you wish to participate in the DRP you can view the plan rules online (32KB) or you can obtain a copy from Link Market Services Limited (telephone 1300 664 446).
