SLIVER panel design
SLIVER technology offers versatility in future panel design which could include semi-flexible and building integrated applications. This demonstration prototype was made for the PV Conference in Barcelona in mid 2005.

Prototype 150W SLIVER panel Neil Tothill (Solar Operations & Technology Manager) holds a prototype 150W SLIVER panel which is under continued R&D before release.

40W panel
Mark Kerr (Senior Module Development Engineer) holds a 40W panel - these were made in mid 2005 as the first a key step to proving our first 10W panels could be scaled-up to larger panels for grid-connect applications. These prototypes are not for sale.

Finished SLIVER panel The King of Sweden, Carl Gustaf XVI and his delegates visited the pilot manufacturing plant's assembly room and handled individual wafers, SLIVER cells and a finished R&D SLIVER panel.

SLIVER cells SLIVER cells are long, thinner than a human hair, quite flexible and perfectly bifacial.
